Welcome to Amanda’s Corner!
Hi! I’m so happy you’re here. Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where motherhood meets real talk—with a little bit of chaos and a whole lot of love.
I’m Amanda, your forever hype girl, a second-time mom, and a Las Vegas-based mama raising two boys with my spouse of nine years.
Before motherhood, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UNLV while working full-time in my big-girl corporate job. I spent years climbing the corporate ladder, thinking that was my path—I was a corporate baddie through and through. But everything shifted when I had my first son.
Going back to work after maternity leave was one of the hardest transitions of my life. The emotional rollercoaster of juggling work, motherhood, and everything in between left me questioning everything I thought I wanted. I knew I wasn’t alone—so many moms out there were feeling the same way—I just needed a way to reach them.

Why I Started Amanda’s Corner
I created Amanda’s Corner as a space to share my real, unfiltered journey through motherhood—the highs, the lows, and everything in between. My goal? To reach other moms who feel the same way, to empower and inspire, and to be your hype girl and mommy friend through every stage of motherhood.
Now, life looks a little different. After 17 years in corporate, I was laid off at 36 weeks pregnant with my second baby. Now, I’m navigating life after corporate, rediscovering myself, and figuring out what’s next—while still being the best mom I can be. And I’m bringing you along for the ride!

Why All the Flamingos?
Did you know mama flamingos lose their pink color while nourishing their babies? As their chick grows and becomes more independent, they gradually regain their color. It’s the perfect symbol for motherhood—we give so much of ourselves to raise our little ones, but eventually, we need to get ourselves back too.
So, this is me—on a journey to “Get My Mama Pink Back.” If you’ve ever felt like you’ve lost a part of yourself in motherhood, you’re not alone. I hope you stick around as I navigate motherhood, identity, and life after corporate—one messy, beautiful day at a time. 💕
