Spooktacular Memories: A Look Back at Some Favorite Halloween Costumes

As Halloween creeps up on us, it is time to dust off the cobwebs of nostalgia and dive into the treasure trove of memories from past Halloweens. From fun college days to epic group ensembles and heartwarming mommy-and-son collaborations, my Halloween costume journey has been a whirlwind of creativity, laughter, and endless fun. So grab your cauldron of nostalgia, put on your favorite witch's hat, and get ready to laugh, reminisce, and maybe even draw some inspiration for your own Halloween costume this year.

College Days and Costume Capers

Back in my college years, Halloween was an excuse to let loose and unleash my wild imagination. From impromptu DIY costumes made with a glue gun to epic costume contests at late night parties, I am sharing the hilarity and creativity that defined those carefree days.

Creative Groups Costumes That Stole the Show

Once I entered the world of adulthood, Halloween took on a new dimension of creative collaboration.

Sanderson Sisters Before the Hype

One year, my friends and I paid homage to a Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus and dressed up as Winifred, Sarah and Mary Sanderson. One of the most intriguing aspects of our Sanderson Sisters Halloween adventure was that, at the time, not everyone recognized who we were portraying. This was before "Hocus Pocus" gained the enormous following it has today. It was a bewitching experience and made our Halloween night even more hilarious and memorable.

Mommy-and Son Duo

Then came the most heartwarming chapter of all, my son's first Halloween. The first Halloween with our little one was so fun. As a Disney lover and a new mom, I finally had a little bestie I could dress up with. I was 9 months postpartum and wanted to dress up, feel good, but also be comfortable.
